ASL MARINE HOLDINGS

About

Overview of Shipyard Locations

The conglomerate operates three expansive shipyards situated on the island of Batam, boasting a natural, deep-waterfront environment. These facilities encompass areas of thirty and sixteen hectares respectively, providing ample space for maritime activities.

Infrastructure and Strategic Position

Situated within a designated free trade zone, these shipyards benefit from their strategic placement in an area tailored for their specific needs. This zone is replete with industrial spaces earmarked for shipbuilding and repair activities, supported by a fully developed infrastructure. This includes well-maintained roads, comprehensive telecommunications networks, necessary utilities, and an array of supportive services, ensuring smooth operations within the shipyards.

Dry Dock Capabilities

Among these facilities, one yard stands out with its inclusion of a substantial 300,000 dwt graving dry dock. Additionally, it houses two graving dry docks catering to medium-sized vessels, with capacities of 60,000 dwt and 20,000 dwt. This makes the yard exceptionally equipped for conducting repairs on a wide range of ships, up to and including Capesize vessels.
