Since its establishment in 1954, the shipyard has grown to include a staff of 150 officers and 800 workers. Occupying a total space of 60,300 square meters, the facility is divided into 4,300 square meters of office space and 56,000 square meters dedicated to manufacturing and repair work. It has significantly contributed to the marine industry by focusing on the construction and repair of vessels, as well as engaging in import and export activities.
FacilitiesThe shipyard boasts a dry dock measuring 90.0 meters in length and 13.2 meters in breadth, designed to accommodate a single vessel at a time. Additionally, it is equipped with two slipways capable of supporting ships up to 30,000 DWT and 16,000 DWT respectively, catering to various sizes of maritime vessels. A notable feature of the shipyard is its gantry crane system, consisting of one crane with a lifting capacity of 200 tons and another capable of hoisting 100 tons, facilitating the construction and maintenance of ships.
Advancements and CertificationsVessel construction has been a part of the shipyard's repertoire since 2003, showcasing its versatility in the maritime sector. Its commitment to quality was recognized in 2004 when it was awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certification. In 2010, the shipyard expanded its capabilities by adding a blasting and painting house, further enhancing its service offerings. Product and AchievementsSpecializing in the production of modern chemical tankers, fully pressured LPG tankers, dredgers, and AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessels), the shipyard has established itself as a leader in the manufacture of specialized marine vessels. It boasts several notable achievements, including being the first in China to construct a chemical tanker, building the largest fully pressured LPG tanker in the country with a capacity of 6,500CBM, and leading in the number of chemical tankers constructed within China.
